One of the most powerful laws in the Universe states that "you cannot give away what you don't own". You can't give away money if you don't have it, you can't care for someone else unless you care for yourself, and you can't love someone else unless you love yourself. Love for yourself is not about vanity, that is ego, love for yourself is about caring for yourself. Caring to live healthfully, caring to have wonderful relationships, caring to keep the garbage away from yourself. You get my point.
